Every Tuesday in April we invite kids from the community to the Sanctuary to watch an animal themed movie. Movies are shown in the education room and run from 6 - 8 p.m. Before and after movie the families get to play with the pets for a while. We may have some cool, laid back dogs hanging out with us during the movie.

*Of course, popcorn will be served!*

The price of admission is a monetary donation with no set minimum amount - we rely on your generosity. So get the kids together and come down to Second Chance for some animal and cinema fun in April!

DOG DAY AFTERNOON
A day in the park for dogs of all kinds and their humans!
Dogs compete for prizes in the Frisbee Contest, Dog Show events, and the Furry Futurity, and veterinarians are on hand to administer low-cost vaccinations.

THE PICK OF THE LITTER CAT SHOW
A day of fun for the cats, only inside with no dogs around.

THE 31-HOUR ADOPATHON
As part of Be Kind to Animals Week, volunteers devote 31 hours straight to the task of finding permanent homes for as many dogs and cats as possible. The goal is to empty the shelter!
